She takes the time to figure out what's at the root of your skin problem ie diet, products, hormonal...she spent half and hour helping me understand what products are good for me to use out of my own collection! My skin has improved drastically since getting facials with Derra! She is genius at what she does! I had really bad acne on my face when I was a teenager and she helped to keep it under control and my face clear. If it was not for her then I would have acne scars all over my face. Now I don’t have one blemish and I get compliments about my skin all the time. I recommend La Vita Bella to everyone. Dera really knows what she is doing and truly cares about her clients, which is rare. Make-up would cause my skin to break out not to mention with different roles and having to shave my facial hair or grow it out to extremes I often experience pseudofacliculitus barbae (PFB). I had tried a lot of different estheticians in Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles to no avail...until I met Derra Breed from LaVita Bella. She invited me for a consultation to evaluate my skin. What impressed me about her approach and thorough evaluation was she didn't try to push any products on me. She actually asked me to bring in what I was using and was willing to investigate each product to find out what was causing the problems. You don't get customer service like that anymore. She not only fixed my problemed skin, but more importantly she taught me how take care of my skin....her philosophy of teaching her clients a healthy and more organic approach to skin care is inspiring! Now, when I am on set for at project I have the make-up department consult with Derra before touching my skin...LOL! She is like an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to skin care. If you are looking for a place where you will walk out and feel so much better about your skin, feel pampered, and know you have spent your money right, then go here! I have had MANY facials and have had some okay experiences, and some not so great which left me feeling upset that I wasted my money. Derra is not only the best at facials, but the spray tans are to die for, and they are organic. She also is an artist when it comes to eyebrows! I would never let anyone else touch my eyebrows! I could go on and on forever but I will just leave it like this, if your wanting a nice relaxing pampering facial then you need to go see Derra, especially since she uses organic products that smell and feel so great, you will definitely notice a difference in just ONE facial!!!! The salon is relaxing and intimate, and the owner, Derra, really knows her stuff! I always leave there glowing! Posted by:ebucceri The owner is GREAT (Derra)...she gives the BEST facials, wonderful massage for the face, you will instantly see and feel that lines and wrinkles are reduced. Derra will also teach you how/what to do for your problem areas on your skin. I have been going to La Vita Bella for almost 2yrs and would never change. This spa is always offering some kind of special which is great, they are always adding new things to their menu! The spray tan is awesome too!
